Mental Health at Work

City Mental Health Alliance

The CMHA is a coalition of organisations that have come together to create an environment in the City where mental health is discussed in the same way as physical health. We were founded by City businesses. CMHA are closely supported by two leading UK mental health organisations, Mental Health First Aid England and Mind. Championed by senior business leaders, the Alliance is business-led, expert-guided and aims to create a culture of good mental health for City workers. Mental Health First Aid England

Mental Health First Aid England are on a mission to train one in ten of the population in England in Mental Health First Aid skills. Because we all have mental health. Mental health education empowers people to care for themselves and others. Consequently by reducing stigma through understanding, we hope to break down barriers to the support that people may need. In order, to stay well, recover, or manage their symptoms – to thrive in learning, work and life. Their team of experienced National Trainers have trained and mentored 1,800 instructors across England who work independently to deliver MHFA courses in their communities.
