World Mental Health Day occurs every year in October. Therefore, it provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work. Likewise, with what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.

Help make Mental Health First Aid a legal requirement

MHFA England state “56 percent of the public say they have experienced a mental health issue. However, 90 percent still feel there is a taboo around mental health.” MHFA England have a partnership with Bauer Media and Natasha Devon MBE to get the law changed to protect mental health. Their campaign aims to improve the mental health of the nation by ensuring employers look after the wellbeing of their workforce. The goal is to get a Mental Health First Aider in every workplace and school.
